Kaleidoscope Grief Center is a nonprofit organization serving critically ill and grieving children, teens, and their families through their life changing grief journey. Kaleidoscope services and programs are provided regardless of ability to pay. Our Kaleidoscope of Caring Services:
Peer Support
Bereavement Groups
Expressing feelings in a safe place is part of the healing process after a death. It is the foundation of the work done in the peer support groups. Peer groups are age appropriate. Groups are held on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of every month at the Kaleidoscope office. The groups are led by trained and supervised volunteers. Our training reflects the gently caring and personable environment Kaleidoscope offers everyone who comes to be helped…a concept of emotional safety. It respects the emotional, intellectual, and spiritual demands made on the volunteers.
Camp Healing Hearts
Grief Camp
Supportive Care Our staff provides psychosocial and emotional support during the cure seeking phase, the active treatment phase, the long term remission phase, and the potential end-of-life phase. Kaleidoscope is here to support your child and your family every step of the way.
