Client and family participation is vital to the success of the treatment process. The mission at Methodist Family Health is to give the best possible care to those who may need our help and to treat the whole person: socially, emotionally and spiritually. Methodist Family Health programs use the framework of the Teaching-Family Model, an evidence-based model of care extensively researched for efficacy that emphasizes the positive teaching of functional skills and behaviors. Research has proven that a 4:1 ratio of positive to negative interactions is the ideal motivational formula. Methodist Family Health is a non-profit, comprehensive behavioral health care system dedicated to providing quality psychiatric and behavioral health care to children and families of Arkansas. The Methodist Counseling Clinic is an outpatient counseling service located in Little Rock, Fayetteville, Heber Springs, Jonesboro and Magnolia. It is a program of Methodist Behavioral Hospital. The Clinic also is in partnership with the Harrisburg, Jonesboro, Craighead County SUCCESS Academy, and Vilonia School Districts to provide school-based counseling services.
