May 16th - May 17th

Kaleidoscope Grief Center’s Camp Healing Hearts is a family-oriented grief camp for children, teens and their families affected by grief due to a serious illness or the death of a loved one. for children, teens and their families affected by grief due to a serious illness or death of a loved one. Caregiver participation is required and limited day care for children under the age of 5 will be available on request. Camp begins Friday, May 16th at 5 pm and concludes Saturday, May 17th at 5pm.

Grief can be a very isolating experience, particularly for children. Camp Healing Hearts provides a safe, nurturing environment where families can develop coping skills both individually and within a community of others. The work of play encourages a new sense of normalcy and allows children to find a voice for their grief. Camp Healing Hearts therapeutically and recreationally offers children and families the opportunity to access their inner strengths.

Camp Facilities

Camp Healing Hearts 2008 will be located in the woodland hills of Little Rock's convenient and newly renovated Camp Aldersgate

Camp Dates & Registration

Camp Healing Hearts begins with Camper Check-In on May 16th, 2008 at 5:00 pm. Camp will conclude at 5:00 pm on May 17th. Limited day care for children under 5 is available upon request. Campers are responsible for their own transportation.

Thanks to the generous support of our sponsors, Camp Healing Hearts is offered regardless of a family's ability to pay.
